Student Covenant
- I will remember that this student ministry exists to glorify God, to please Him and build our relationships with Him (1 Corinthians 10:31).
- I will remember that youth group time is a time of fellowship and joy.
- I will remember that each person is a person of great worth that God has created. It is important to remember to use uplifting and affirming language when talking with each other. We are here to build each other up. (Romans 12:10).
- I will make an effort to fully participate and engage.
- At every event, I will use my personal media device (i.e. phone) appropriately. I will use my device only when needed. I will not take photos or videos of anyone without their permission.
- I will ask permission before putting pictures or videos onto social media.
- I understand that I will stay at all student events for the whole time, and not leave without the permission of an adult leader.
- I understand that clothing needs to be appropriate for the environment that I am in. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
- I will respect the personal space of everyone present. If my behavior causes others to become uncomfortable, then I will cease that activity.
- I will respect the authority of the adult leaders at all times.
- I understand that if I repeatedly violate the above covenant, I may be asked to leave the activity and will be dealt with individually by a church staff member or by an assigned adult volunteer.
