Youth are important to us!
The Evangel United Methodist Church Youth Program works hard to love, challenge, and encourage students to grow in their faith. Our youth ministries include sixth grade all the way through high school seniors. Our desire is to stimulate the spiritual growth of our youth through Bible-related, thought-provoking education. Ultimately, we hope to help our students develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and find a deeper understanding of God's plan for them. By providing youth with the resources they need to grow in worship, lead spirit-filled daily lives, and give them opportunities to witness and serve others, we help them discover a commitment to Jesus Christ, our community, and ourselves
Sunday School
Junior and Senior High Sunday School is offered on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM September through May. We cover many topics in the Bible and in life and welcome open discussion.
Confirmation
At Evangel, Confirmation is a two-year class offering a basic and fundamental understanding of the Christian faith. While the objective is to help these young people prepare to confirm for themselves the vows to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, the class offers many fun and active ways to experience and learn about the Christian faith.
Geared for students entering grades 7 - 9.

Youth Mission Trip to LouiSville, KY 2024
The Event was a blast!
Such great words of wisdom from 1 Corinthians 16 (v13-14, NRSV). This was the theme for
“The Event” where six of our youth joined nearly 100 other youth to praise God and learn more
about Him. We played games, listened to powerful speakers, enjoyed a hip hop concert, and ate
pizza! We also got to try out Whirlyball – a mashup of basketball, lacrosse and bumper cars.
