Evangel Youth

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.

1 Timothy 4:12

Youth Mission Trips

Every summer, the Evangel Youth go on a mission trip. Mission trips give these young people the opportunity to meet youth from other churches, work with kids in more disadvantaged areas, help residents with yard work, build wheel chair ramps, visit nursing home residents, help in thrift stores or food shelves, and many, many more activities.

Mission Trip Fundraisers

Fundraisers are a great way for the youth at Evangel UMC to raise money for the annual youth mission trip as well as to connect with the congregation and community. Fundraisers including the youth cafe in October, the youth banquet in February, Superbowl Subs on Superbowl Sunday and flocking are annual events that are well loved among the Evangel family

Youth Are important to us!

The Evangel United Methodist Church Youth Program works hard to love, challenge, and encourage students to grow in their faith. Our youth ministries include sixth grade all the way through high school seniors. Our desire is to stimulate the spiritual growth of our youth through Bible-related, thought-provoking education. Ultimately, we hope to help our students develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and find a deeper understanding of God's plan for them. By providing youth with the resources they need to grow in worship, lead spirit-filled daily lives, and give them opportunities to witness and serve others, we help them discover a commitment to Jesus Christ, our community, and ourselves.
