Read the bible in a Year
Join Pastor David in reading through the Bible in a year!
There will be a message each Sunday coordinated with the readings assigned and drop in classes on Thursdays at 6 PM or Sundays at 9:45 AM either in the lobby or the Fireside Room.
Children's Church
All children from PreK – Grade 5 are invited to be a part of Evangel Children’s Church this summer in room 225. We will be studying leaders for God’s People, Gods People in the Wilderness, and Gideon.
Children's Church is available for both services and the children will be released from worship.
Songwriting sessions
"Sing to the Lord a new song!" - Psalm 96
Calling all songwriters, poets, musicians, creatives, or anyone interested in musical worship. We would like to create worship songs that represent our church - songs that we can sing during Sunday services. If you have an interest in writing hymns or worship songs, please join us in this drop-in summer connect group. No songwriting or musical experience required, but we do ask that you come prepared to contribute (bring an idea for lyrics, melody, guitar riff, etc.) and with a humble and gracious heart.
We will meet after the second service on the following dates:
June 9, June 23, July 14, July 28, and August TBD.

Sunday School & Children's Church registration now open
To register your child for the upcoming school year, click on the link below to fill out the form. This form is required for children and youth age 3-grade 12. JOin the tech team
The Tech Team is the technical heart of worship at Evangel. There are opportunities for people to work the cameras during a service, run the slides for the big screens during the service, or run the sound during the service. Don't worry if you don't know how to do these things. We will train you if you think it is something you would like to do.

Sunday School starts at 9:30 in between the first and the second service. Visit our Connect Groups page to find Sunday opportunities for adults.

join the evangel choir
The Evangel Choir sings at the 8:30 AM Traditional Service from September through the first week in June. Rehearsals are on Thursdays at 7:30PM in the Sanctuary. Anyone in senior high and above who enjoys singing is welcome to join the fun. If you are interested, you are welcome to join on Thursday nights or contact Choir Director Pam Wright at 507-289-8760; pkowright@charter.net. Help us in praising God through music!
