Evangel's 32nd annual Rummage Sale
Come to one of the largest rummage sales in Rochester for great finds on all things rummage. While there, support the youth by making a stop at the Youth Café.

Church Leaf Raking Event
UnitE@ will be having our annual leaf Raking for seniors day on Sunday November 9 from 1:45- 5:00 p.m. We are hoping weather conditions will be dry so we can help our church family with Fall clean up. Please meet at church at 1:45 to carpool to our first home OR meet at our first home at 2:00 if that is more convenient for you.
For first home address please, call or text Jim Klepper at 507-316-3248. If coming later please call for the current location of our raking team. After each home you will be given directions to our next stop. We have a total of 5 yards to rake. We hope to see you Sunday for all the fun. Thank you for being a blessing to our Evangel seniors."
What: Leaf Raking (bring your own leaf raking gear. We will provide the trailer for hauling.)

Join us for an eveing of support, connection, and hope as we explore ways to cope with anxiety and fear caused by violence in schools, places of worship and public spaces.
A panel of mental health professionals will share insights and practical tools for healing and resilience. Resources will be available for those seeking support or looking to help others.

The 2025 Giving Tree Begins Sunday, November 23
(Starting One Week Early to Help You Take Advantage of Black Friday Deals!)
As we enter the season of Advent and Christmas, Evangel invites you to help us share the love of Christ with families in need. With rising inflation and ongoing challenges in our world, many are struggling now more than ever. The needs represented on our Giving Tree are real, and personally verified by Evangel staff. Your generosity can make a lasting impact this season.
This year, we’re offering two easy ways to participate in the Giving Tree:
Option 1: In-Person
Starting Sun., Nov. 23, visit the Giving Tree located in the Evangel lobby.
• Choose a gift tag from the tree
• Purchase the gift described
• Wrap the gift and attach the original tag on top
• Return it to the tree in the lobby OR hand to one of the Evangel staff.
You may stop by during the day, on select evenings, or Sunday mornings.
Option 2: Online
A link will become available starting Nov. 23 to shop online. You can choose to ship it directly to Evangel (we’ll wrap it), or ship it to your home. Wrap it, attach the tag to the top, and drop it off at Evangel.
All gifts will be distributed by the Connections & Growth Team to the children and families they were selected for. If all tags are taken, you can still help by donating unwrapped toys, scarves, mittens, socks, or gloves. These will be delivered to the Women’s Shelter or Christmas Anonymous.
The Giving Tree is a beautiful part of Evangel’s outreach and mission. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ this holiday season.
An Evangel Intergenerational Christmas Returns This Year!

The arrival of Jesus changed everything—and our celebration is designed to reflect the joy, hope, and unity His coming brings. This year’s Intergenerational Christmas Celebration invites our entire church family to come together in worship and fellow-ship. It’s a beautiful opportunity to celebrate as one body, high-light our children, and share the joy of the season across all generations.
Here’s what’s planned for this special day:
10:30am: Worship Service (One service only)
A special service featuring our Senior Choir, Good News Worship Band, a children’s Christmas panto-mime, Handbell Choir, Youth Choir, and more!
11:30am: All-Church Brunch
Don’t miss our delicious brunch in the multipurpose room! We’ll have favorites like orange French toast, eggs, all the fixings from last year and a FEW NEW TREATS!
12:15pm: Creation Stations
After brunch, enjoy activities like cookie decorating, storytelling from our seniors, arts and crafts, and wrapping gifts for the Giving Tree.
1:15pm: Christmas Caroling
Spread out across Rochester to bring Christmas joy to Evangel shut-ins. This has become a cherished Evangel tradition—full of warmth, music, and joy. If your schedule allows, join us through to the end of caroling, or feel free to wrap up your day after the Creation Stations.

Sunday School & Children's Church registration
To register your child for the upcoming school year, click on the link below to fill out the form. This form is required for children and youth age 3-grade 12. New updated Connect groups
Children's Church
All children from PreK – Grade 5 are invited to be a part of Evangel Children’s Church this summer in room 225. We will be studying leaders for God’s People, Gods People in the Wilderness, and Gideon.
Children's Church is available for both services and the children will be released from worship.

JOin the tech team
The Tech Team is the technical heart of worship at Evangel. There are opportunities for people to work the cameras during a service, run the slides for the big screens during the service, or run the sound during the service. Don't worry if you don't know how to do these things. We will train you if you think it is something you would like to do.

join the evangel choir
The Evangel Choir sings at the 8:30 AM Traditional Service from September through the first week in June. Rehearsals are on Thursdays at 7:30PM in the Sanctuary. Anyone in senior high and above who enjoys singing is welcome to join the fun. If you are interested, you are welcome to join on Thursday nights or contact Choir Director Pam Wright at 507-289-8760; pkowright@charter.net. Help us in praising God through music!
