How can you Help at Evangel


Evangel has many opportunities for people to help. If you have the time and would like to help out, please check out the opportunities below to find out which ones work best for you.

  • Holy Communion Servers

    The first Sunday of every month, we remember Christ’s sacrifice through the sharing of bread (the body of Christ) and juice (the blood of Christ) during Holy Communion at both services. We are seeking volunteers! If you are able to help with this important part of worship, please email the church office at office@evangelum.org or call 507-289-4817. Even just one morning a year makes all the difference

  • Ushers

    Ushers are a very important part of Sunday Worship!  Ushers are responsible for the following.

    • Welcome and greet the congregation
    • Hand out bulletins and attendance books
    • Attend to any special needs members of the congregation may require
    • Collect the offering
    • Help to direct the congregation during communion
